About PV Roots

The idea was to create a community garden where we could gather and discuss and share knowledge and encourage others to grow more food locally. Having not found any land yet that would work for this purpose, my new idea is to start a club of like minded, Putnam Valley community members in order to share knowledge, successes and failures of growing food so we can all learn to grow more nutritious, fresh and sustainable food for our families and hopefully enough to share with others. If anyone wants to donate some land for the season, come harvest time, there would be some fresh vegetables in it for you.
